Tracked transport vehicles can travel in shoals and some marshes, but this needs to be determined based on the vehicle's waterproof performance and the actual terrain conditions.
Ordinary civilian / engineering models can pass through shoals with a depth of 0.3-0.8 meters, while specialized waterproof models can handle depths of 1-1.5 meters.
It is necessary to check the waterproof rating of the vehicle's air intake and electrical system to prevent malfunctions caused by deep water intrusion.
They can pass through marshes where the surface layer has a certain load-bearing capacity (without sinking into the mud layer), which mainly relies on the low ground pressure of the tracks.
They cannot traverse deep mud marshes (where the mud thickness exceeds the track's ground contact depth), as there is a high risk of getting stuck.
Before traveling, survey the water depth and mud thickness to avoid blindly entering unknown water areas.
After wading through water / marshes, promptly clean the mud on the tracks and inspect the tightness of the chassis and electrical system.
